Statutory late payment interest in North Macedonia is calculated as: NBRM reference interest rate + 8 percentage points (for commercial transactions) or + 5 percentage points (non-commercial). Interest is calculated on an annual basis and applied proportionally for the number of days overdue. The current reference rate can be checked on the NBRM website.
